Job summary

People Technology And Processes is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I & II in Virginia Beach, VA, with Secret clearance. The role involves managing property accountability, using DPAS, COLTS, and other systems to track inventories, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure accurate records.

The position requires 4+ years of military logistics experience, proficiency in DPAS/COLTS and MS Excel, and the ability to maintain complete audit-ready transaction trails.

Qualifications

• Shall have a minimum of 4 years of experience in military logistics and property/inventory management and SOF logistics experience.
• Proficiency in COLTS, DPAS, MS Excel and other programs within the MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Logistics Officer by utilizing DPAS, SPEAR, and COLTS.
• Schedule and monitor inventory progress for Property Program; conduct inventories in DPAS and communicate issues to clerks and officers.
• Establish and maintain property accountability records with complete transaction trails for audit.
• Issue, receive and sign for property; perform administrative inventory control and maintain accountability records.
• Mark and track property received and issued in government-approved barcoding system.
• Provide inventory support to SRT-1/LOGSU-8/IMD-8 Departments as required.
• Coordinate inventory progress for N4 Property Program; inform departments of issues and maintain records.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Assist the NSWG-8 Logistics Officer by utilizing DPAS, Special Operations Force (SOF) Personnel Equipment Advance Requirements (SPEAR), and Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking Systems (COLTS).
• Schedules and Monitors inventory progress for Property Program. Conducts and posts inventories to DPAS. Inform and communicates issues to all departmental Property Clerks, Responsible Officers, and Accountable Property Officer.
• Establish and maintain the records of the property accountability systems, to include a complete trail of all transactions suitable for audit.
• Issues, Receives and signs for property and material. Administrative inventory control and accountability, and maintenance of property accountability records, to include a complete trail of all transactions suitable for audit.
• Marks and tracks property received and issued in government approved barcoding system.

Qualifications

• Shall be able to demonstrate proficiency in Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking Systems (COLTS) DPAS, MS Excel and other programs within the MS Office Suite.
