Job summary

Centurum in Charleston, SC is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage Government Furnished equipment for installation projects. You will control inventory, submit requests, track shipments, and maintain purchasing and inventory databases.

Familiarity with CMPRO and Navy Ship Modernization is required. Five years of DoD logistics experience (supervisory/warehouse lead) and knowledge of inventory, packing, storage, and shipping are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Five years DoD logistics experience including supervisory or warehouse lead responsibilities.
• Experience with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and use of bar-coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics management and inventory control for Government Furnished equipment.
• Submit requests, track, ship and receive equipment and materials via DoD/commercial carriers and maintain databases.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CMPRO and Navy Ship Modernization.
