Serco Inc. seeks a Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Navy Surface Ship Fleet.

The role centers on lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and advisory actions to ensure fleet readiness and sailor safety, working with Navy technical community and Serco SMEs. The position requires an active DoW Secret clearance, engineering degree or equivalent naval experience, strong MS Office skills, and ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifikationen

• Active DoW Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years’ naval shipboard engineering experience.
• Alternative: High School Diploma with 4 years’ naval shipboard experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. Navy ship configuration and maintenance processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong technical writing.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Familiarity with Navy advisory systems (eARRTS, HARs, CMP).

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support to U.S. Navy Surface Ship HM&E systems.
• Coordinate lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and CASREPs.
• Develop technical documentation and installation procedures.
• Prepare advisory messages and maintain eARRTS records.
• Collaborate with Navy and Serco stakeholders across multiple offices.
• Develop readiness dashboards using Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Analyze equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
