Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an engineering professional to support the US Navy's Submarine In-service Program Office. You will provide fluid systems engineering, analyze issues, and prepare both unclassified and classified briefs for decision makers. The role requires DoW Secret clearance, a technical degree, and strong communication skills.

You will collaborate in IPTs, manage multiple tasks, travel up to 10%, and contribute to program success while maintaining high performance standards.

Qualifications

• The ability to obtain a U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field with minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Time management skills and proven interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and fluid systems engineering support to the program office.
• Recommend courses of action for technical and programmatic issues.
• Perform planning, cost, schedule, risk, and performance analyses across life-cycle stages.
• Review briefs and develop technical input for decision-makers.
• Prepare Unclassified and Classified briefs for audiences up to Flag level.
• Attend meetings and Program IPTs and contribute to team efforts.
• Demonstrate teamwork and high personal standards in performance.
• Work under general supervision to complete varied tasks.
