Job summary

Amentum is seeking software engineering professionals to support C/C++ development and integration for Naval projects in Dahlgren, Virginia. This on-site role requires an active Secret U.S. Government clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, with 0–10 years of experience.

You will contribute to multiple contracts within the Software Center of Excellence, working with Agile teams and senior developers to modernize DoD systems and ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Strong communication with customers and engineers.
• Experience or familiarity with Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate C/C++ software for Naval projects.
• Support development within SLBM weapon system context.
• Collaborate with Senior Amentum developers in an Agile framework.
• Apply C/C++ expertise to software development activities.
