Amentum is seeking a C or C++ Junior Developer to support Naval projects at Dahlgren, VA. You will contribute to software development in C/C++ under Agile processes and work with a growing software engineering team on diverse contracts within our Software Center of Excellence.

Minimum 0–5 years experience, a degree in a technical field, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required. On-site at Dahlgren with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 0–5 years of experience in software development or related field.
• Candidate must be able to obtain DoD security clearance and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Software development in C and/or C++ according to project needs.
• Collaborate within Agile software development processes to deliver modules on schedule.
• Support integration and testing activities with the software team and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with customers and engineering personnel to clarify requirements.
