Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and government/public-sector construction projects nationwide. You will oversee safety, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and project execution from groundbreaking through closeout, with a focus on ADA/accessibility scopes and concrete work.

This role requires 90–100% travel and involves diverse project types including commercial, government, federal, ground-up, and site concrete

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management or related field.
• 7+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years as a Superintendent for a General Contractor.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred).
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
• First Aid / CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• General Contractor license or LEED experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction activities and field operations.
• Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to maintain productivity and progress.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet key milestones.
• Develop and manage short-term schedules aligned with the master project schedule.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor to maintain workflow.
• Identify issues early and implement solutions to avoid delays.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance; conduct safety meetings and site inspections.
• Ensure quality control according to plans and specifications; perform inspections.
• Manage subcontractor performance and schedule adherence; coordinate trades.
• Maintain daily reports and communicate updates to the Project Manager; assist with RFIs and change orders.
