Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver and enhance training for our front-line employees. You will develop curricula, collaborate with managers, and ensure programs align with performance goals.

This role requires 50-75% travel and a mix of in-office and remote training delivery, aiming to elevate skills across maintenance, HVAC, and related trades. Strong communication and LMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in general trades, HVAC, construction, or maintenance.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and development best practices.
• Experience implementing instructional materials in multiple media formats.
• Flexibility to deliver training in classroom, virtual, on-the-job, synchronous, and asynchronous formats.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for broad audiences.
• Experience measuring learning outcomes and reporting impacts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with MS Office, Canva, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate skill-based curriculums for front-line trades employees.
• Develop training content aligned with best practices.
• Partner with Service Managers to assess and fulfill learning needs.
• Evaluate programs and suggest improvements for performance and retention.
• Test learning technologies to boost engagement and outcomes.
• Analyze training data and communicate impact to stakeholders.
