Turner Construction Company is seeking a traveling Superintendent (Mechanical-Electrical) to lead and coordinate work on projects across the United States. The role oversees MEPS trades, enforces safety, manages schedules and budgets, and coordinates with owners and engineers.

Candidates should have a strong BIM background and comprehensive MEPS knowledge. The position requires 50–100% national travel, a Bachelor’s degree with extensive superintendent experience, and a proven ability to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of four years of formal superintendent experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
• Thorough knowledge of building information modeling and its use in coordination of the Mechanical and Electrical systems and other project systems.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• 50% - 100% national travel is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead, direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors on MEPS systems.
• Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality and budget adherence.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns.
• Create schedules and sequencing of work; develop recovery strategies.
• Coordinate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues.
• Manage billing and monthly estimates, payrolls, material invoices and subcontractor payments.
• Lead project inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover and training for system handover.
