Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a traveling Superintendent Mechanical‑Electrical to lead and coordinate subcontractors on projects nationwide, focusing on MEPS systems. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with engineers/owners, developing recovery strategies, and maintaining detailed site documentation across diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of four years of formal superintendent experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor with regard to Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and budget adherence on the project.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns, and provide input on performance appraisals.
• Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects/owners on field issues and prepare for inspections, turnover and training.
