Job summary

Divcon Controls in Irving, Texas is seeking a Director of Subcontractor Operations to lead national low-voltage subcontractor strategy, pricing, governance, and performance across projects. You will collaborate with Estimating, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure quality, safety, and cost alignment while driving scalable solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in subcontractor management with a track record of building operating models, MSAs/NDAs, and executive-level stakeholder

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and data centers.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and subcontractor terms at scale.
• Business and operational judgment on how subcontractor strategy affects cost, schedule, quality, safety.
• Ability to build scalable operating models, governance, and continuous-improvement processes across multi-project environments.
• Executive-level communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a scalable national subcontractor strategy aligned with growth plans and execution standards.
• Establish governance for subcontractor onboarding, compliance, and performance requirements.
• Own pricing strategies, labor-rate benchmarks, and procurement discipline for subcontractor scopes.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to level bids and refine pricing packages.
• Provide executive review on quotes, scopes, and change orders; set approvals and escalation standards.
• Set communication protocols for Project Managers and Project Executives for scope clarifications.
• Deliver visibility into subcontractor risks, delays, and cost impacts across projects.
• Participate in project reviews to advise on subcontractor capacity and risk.
• Develop and oversee a subcontractor performance scorecard and quarterly reviews.
• Lead root-cause analyses to improve subcontractor execution and reduce risk.
