Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Director of Subcontractor Operations to lead our national low-voltage subcontractor strategy and operating model. This senior role partners with Project Managers, Estimating, Engineering, Procurement, and Legal to reduce risk and improve project outcomes across the portfolio.

You will drive scalable onboarding, pricing standards, and performance governance while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality across active projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, BMS/EPMS, PLC/SCADA, data centers, or similar environments.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, scopes of work, pricing structures, and contractor performance.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence senior leaders and subcontractors effectively.
• Experience building scalable operating models, governance, and continuous improvement processes.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional partnerships to drive project execution.

Responsibilities

• Define a scalable national subcontractor strategy aligned with growth plans and execution standards.
• Establish governance for subcontractor onboarding, compliance, and performance expectations.
• Own national pricing, labor-rate benchmarks, and procurement discipline for subcontractor scopes.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Engineering, and Operations to level bids and improve pricing packages.
• Provide executive guidance on quotes, scopes, and change orders with standardized approval processes.
• Lead subcontractor performance reviews, risk assessment, and corrective action planning.
