Job summary

Skydio, the leading US drone company, seeks a highly motivated Field Support Representative with UAS experience to provide on-site and remote technical and logistics support for federal and enterprise customers.

You will own customer relationships, help manage product feedback, and collaborate with PM, Product, Support and Engineering to troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain fleets, traveling up to 80% globally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Field Support Representative operating on, repairing and maintaining UAS for large clients.
• Adept at technical troubleshooting, problem solving, and familiar with triage and escalation workflows.
• OCONUS (deployed) military experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with RMA, spares, logistics or other repair workflows is preferred.
• Experience in Linux operating systems is preferred.
• Existing or prior security clearance is preferred.
• Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Skydio’s products, processes, specifications, and product roadmap.
• Develop field support processes to accelerate escalation and debugging workflows.
• Reduce technical escalations by developing effective triage and resolution techniques.
• Achieve advanced proficiency in product enablement by becoming a Skydio UAS Operator and Trainer.
• Provide on-the-job training to customers on maintenance and operation techniques for UAS fleets.
• Develop or improve written inspection procedures, drawings and instructions for inspection and maintenance.
