Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Pre-Sales Architect on the Applied AI team to help national security agencies understand the value of Claude and design scalable deployments. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers from discovery to deployment while ensuring safety and reliability.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to tailor architectures, evals, and integration strategies, including Claude Code and Claude API, across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Prior experience with US national security agencies preferred.
• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
• Experience navigating complex buying cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences including executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Serve as primary technical advisor from discovery to deployment across teams.
• Support customers building with Claude products and APIs.
• Create technical content for varied audiences, from engineers to executives.
• Guide architecture decisions and integrate Claude into existing stacks.
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude’s performance.
• Identify common integration patterns and provide feedback to Product/Engineering.
• Travel to customer sites for workshops and deep dives.
