The primary purpose of the National Sales Manager is to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, sales operations, and cross-functional collaboration to meet business objectives. This role requires a dynamic, results-oriented leader who can develop national sales strategies, inspire and mentor a high-performing, geographically dispersed sales team, and uphold Medisca’s customer service standards.

The role is remote, based in Florida, Texas, New Jersey, New York, or California.

Travel: Up to 12 weeks per year within North America for training, trade shows, and client visits.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the US Sales Team:
    • Lead, train, coach, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets
    • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture emphasizing accountability and teamwork
    • Establish sales objectives and ensure communication alignment with company goals
    • Provide and revise annual forecasts for territories and the market
    • Develop and implement a national sales strategy
    • Identify training needs and implement professional development programs
  2. Sales Visits/Trade Shows:
    • Visit key customers and prospects to build relationships and identify growth opportunities
    • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
    • Plan and execute road visits and promotional blitzes
    • Network within the industry to gather market insights
  3. Analyze Sales and Statistics:
    • Track sales metrics and KPIs to ensure goal alignment
    • Analyze trends and potential for growth within territories
    • Evaluate and create KPIs, review sales data regularly
    • Collaborate with other departments to align strategies and gather market feedback
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 7-10 years of sales management experience
  • 6 years of management experience
  • At least 5 years in Physician detailing
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel up to 12 weeks/year
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM and QMS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent English communication skills
