Job summary

Evergreen Roadworks is seeking a Safety Director to plan and implement the company safety program across multiple states. You will lead a team of safety professionals, partner with site leaders, and drive a culture of safety-first behaviors.

The role requires developing policies, monitoring regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, EPA), conducting audits, and coordinating training. A Bachelor's in safety-related field and 5+ years in corporate safety are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety/Construction management or related field.
• 5+ years in corporate safety department proven experience.
• Experience developing safety processes and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Drives workplace safety and leads the safety department.
• Coordinates safety programs across Illinois, Indiana and Michigan sites.
• Develops policies and training to instill a safe culture.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA and other agencies.
• Drives incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
