Job summary

Leadpoint Business Services is seeking a Director of Safety to lead safety operations across recycling and production facilities nationwide, driving strategy, compliance, and a strong safety culture.

The role provides leadership to the Safety Manager and others, conducts investigations, and ensures corrective actions are implemented. This is a full-time position requiring hands-on field safety oversight and significant travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive occupational safety experience in high-risk environments.
• Experience leading safety professionals across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall safety strategy and programs across multiple locations.
• Manage and develop Safety Manager and operational leaders.
• Oversee audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership during OSHA inspections and regulatory inquiries.
