Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director, Psychiatry Field Reimbursement Managers to lead the national FRM team and drive patient access across the United States. The role oversees strategy, analytics, and execution, partnering with Market Access, Legal, and IT to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.

The position requires extensive field leadership experience, regulatory acumen, and a track record of scaling high-performing teams. Travel will be substantial as the role is field-based and nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in field leadership and market access.
• Minimum 5 years leading field-based teams, with experience managing managers.
• Proven ability to navigate regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks.
• Deep understanding of Medicare Parts A–D reimbursement and specialty drug distribution.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and execution priorities for the Rheumatology FRM team aligned to brand strategy and patient access goals.
• Ensure FRM procedures and field activities comply with regulations and AbbVie policies.
• Develop and execute a national strategy for patient services and access resources.
• Identify training needs and support in-field, regional, and national meetings.
• Build access infrastructure and deployment models for new indications and expansion.
• Monitor performance and shift metrics from activity to impact.
