Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) who is field-based and lives within a reasonable distance from the primary city.

The FRM serves as an in-office resource for HCPs, addressing patient access questions and supporting AbbVie products with expert coverage and reimbursement guidance. You will educate providers on patient support programs, product acquisition options, and payer processes, while staying current on national and regional payor policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field (preferred or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in a therapeutic area with Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, or Access and Reimbursement.
• Strong territory and account management skills.
• Ability to educate on payer processes and coverage requirements at national/regional levels.
• Understanding of Parts A, B, C, D or Medicare and related reimbursement dynamics.
• Knowledge of drug acquisition, dispensing, and payer networks (specialty pharmacies/distributors).

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement support tools and services.
• Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution.
• Educate on resources available to address access issues.
• Provide local expertise regarding national/regional payor policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes.
• Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility.
• Report back payer trends related for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
