Job summary

AbbVie's Parkinson’s Field Reimbursement Manager role is field-based, serving HCPs within a defined geography to address patient access and reimbursement for AbbVie products. The FRM educates on coverage, eligibility, and payer processes, and collaborates with AbbVie’s access teams to optimize patient access.

The role requires within-territory presence, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication on reimbursement strategies at national and regional levels. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement.
• Understanding of payer policy processes, coverage, coding, and payment.
• Strong communication of coding and billing requirements at national/regional level.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Educate on product acquisition and access options such as specialty networks.
• Educate on resources to address access issues.
• Advise on payer policies, coding changes and claims submission.
• Maintain relationships with providers within territory.
• Stay current on managed care and reimbursement policy activities.
