Job summary

Oscar is seeking a Provider Contracting Manager to join our National Contracting team. You will lead a team focused on negotiating and analyzing contracts with large national providers, ensuring access, quality, and financial goals are met.

You will report to the Senior Director, Specialty Contracting, and work remotely with travel across multiple states. Base pay ranges from $100,602 to $132,040 in most locations, with additional benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in healthcare network contracting (health systems, hospitals, or national providers)
• 2+ years managing complex provider network strategies and negotiating complex contracts
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years experience in Health Insurance and/or Healthcare industry

Responsibilities

• Implement contracting strategies under direction of Network Director and Senior Manager in partnership with Market Leaders
• Manage and negotiate contracts with assigned healthcare providers for favorable terms and compliance
• Oversee a small team of contracting associates and specialists, providing leadership and development
• Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of provider contracts to identify improvements
• Use provider financial data and market intelligence to inform negotiation decisions
• Support the rollout of contracting policies and workflows to ensure efficient processes
• Monitor network performance, cost, and provider satisfaction; report findings to leadership
• Ensure timely resolution of provider issues related to terms, reimbursement, and participation
• Build and maintain positive relationships with providers to sustain network stability
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
