Oscar Health is hiring a Provider Contracting Manager to lead our National Contracting team. This remote role targets negotiating contracts with large national providers, aligning network strategy with accessibility and cost goals.

Based in the field with travel, you will manage a small team, drive contract performance, and partner with cross-functional leaders. Requires 4+ years in healthcare contracting, 2+ years leading complex network strategies, and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in healthcare network contracting, including contracts with health systems, hospitals or national providers.
• 2+ years of experience managing complex Provider Network strategies and negotiating complex contracts.
• 2+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement contracting strategies aligned with network goals and cost management objectives.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Lead and mentor a small contracting team, setting objectives and developing talent.
• Analyze provider contracts to identify improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Use data to inform negotiations and contracting decisions and support the team.
• Monitor contracting processes and ensure efficient workflows and timely issue resolution.
• Provide reports on network performance, cost, and provider satisfaction to leadership.
