Job summary

First National Bank of America is seeking a motivated Property Tax Supervisor to lead the Escrow Team across a nationwide mortgage portfolio, coaching staff and ensuring accurate tax payments.

You will collaborate with taxing authorities, internal partners, and the Escrow Department to maintain regulatory compliance and a high-quality servicing experience.

This role emphasizes process improvement, team development, and reliable loan servicing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Leads and coaches a team to deliver property tax servicing excellence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal/external partners.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and accountability in tax processing.
• Experience managing direct reports, staffing, or team workflows.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines on long-term projects, and adapt quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Positive, solutions-oriented approach to process improvement and change.
• Experience with tax authorities, municipalities, or escrow (Lereta preferred).
• Bilingual communication skills in Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and encourage a team handling property tax servicing activities.
• Help team resolve complex account questions using loan notes and system docs.
• Ensure escrowed property taxes are paid accurately and on time.
• Review delinquent tax notices and coordinate actions for non-escrowed properties.
• Oversee tax research for 34,000+ properties nationwide.
• Prepare clear customer communications and compliance letters.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with bank policies and loan documents.
• Partner with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency.
• Participate in system or programming enhancements to support the team.
