Job summary

Community Bank, N.A. is hiring a Loan Operations Escrow Processor 1 to manage property tax and insurance escrows for real estate loans. You will coordinate remittances, maintain escrow records, and support branches and customers with escrow questions in a compliant banking environment.

Hours are 40 per week with compensation commensurate with experience and a benefits package including medical, vision and dental insurance, a 401K match, pension, tuition reimbursement, and banking discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in banking is preferred; mortgage knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel for data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate taxes and insurance for real estate loans.
• Prepare tax and hazard insurance remittances monthly.
• Prepare mortgage insurance remittances as due.
• Research tax data with the servicing vendor.
• Create escrow accounts for existing loans.
• Send regulatory letters when cancelling escrows.
• Process escrow payments and maintain the system.
• Assist branches, customers, insurers, and tax collectors with escrow questions.
• Maintain compliance with laws and internal controls.
