Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Project Operations to oversee installation and construction projects nationwide. You will own project execution standards, schedule performance, and margin management, balancing field realities with corporate goals.

You will build and enforce processes for intake, estimating handoff, scheduling, change orders, closeout and billing, while partnering with Sales, Estimating, Finance and operations leaders to improve bid accuracy and

Qualifications

• 12+ years in project management or construction operations
• 5+ years leading project managers across multiple sites
• Background in refrigeration, HVAC, or foodservice equipment installation
• Experience with WIP, cost-to-complete and change orders

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across operating companies, meeting schedule and budget
• Define standard processes for intake, estimating handoff, scheduling, change orders
• Own project financials: gross margin, WIP, forecast
• Identify at-risk projects and drive recovery plans
• Develop project managers and coaches with performance metrics
• Drive adoption of PM tools and reporting
• Collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Finance and leaders to improve bid profitability
