Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks a Sr Building Technology Systems Director to lead the national BTS practice. You will shape strategy, drive innovation, and manage investment decisions across service lines, aligning OT/IT, cybersecurity, and facility operations with client needs.

The role requires senior leadership, extensive BTS expertise, and a track record of delivering large-scale building technology solutions for diverse sectors. Denver-based, with a broad national remit and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, security management, or related field.
• Master's degree or higher in BTS, cybersecurity, or business administration preferred.
• Minimum 15 years in relevant fields with 7+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience consulting for building owners/operators in BTS.
• Advanced knowledge of telecoms, security systems, OT/IT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual internal business planning and strategy sessions.
• Develop and execute financial strategy to meet goals.
• Set strategic direction for Building Technology Systems business.
• Develop and enforce policies and standards for BTS.
• Collaborate with sectors to align BTS with company strategy.
• Oversee client engagements and relationship management.
• Mentor and develop staff within BTS disciplines.
• Ensure technical excellence and quality across projects.
