Job summary

Scale is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to own Scale's inventory program across our nationwide energy assets. You will create centralized visibility for spare parts and replacement equipment across sites, warehouses, and storage locations, and design systems and controls to ensure materials are available when needed.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in inventory, materials management, spare-parts, or related roles.
• Experience supporting distributed field operations or multiple locations preferred.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP/CMMS or asset-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory management across Scale's nationwide assets, sites, warehouses, and storage locations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a centralized inventory database and tracking system.
• Establish inventory standards: item masters, stocking policies, min/max levels, reorder points, safety stock.
• Forecast spare parts and replacement equipment needs with Operations, Maintenance, and technical teams.
• Manage replenishment and purchasing to minimize asset downtime.
• Maintain traceability of serialized/high-value equipment and inventory transfers.
• Establish cycle-counting and physical inventory procedures; reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor obsolete or slow-moving inventory and advise disposition or sourcing actions.
• Develop and maintain inventory KPIs and reporting.
• Lead continuous improvement of inventory systems and processes, including ERP integration.
