Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a National Field System Engineer to perform on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance for customers across the territory. You will troubleshoot with electro‑mechanical expertise and maintain strong customer relationships while coordinating with dispatch and leadership.

Applicants should have a technical degree or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, and a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced field service role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years related experience in a relevant technical field.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electro‑mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license in the resident state.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance for bioMerieux customers.
• Communicate professionally with customers and service teams in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot instruments to board or subassembly level using electro‑mechanical skills.
• Build customer relationships and identify service or sales opportunities.
• Travel regularly, including overnight and national travel, to support needs.
