Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is seeking a National Field Service Technician in a program that starts with extensive training (about 9 months). You will travel frequently across the U.S. to gain expertise and prepare for a Service Engineer role, with eventual assignment in a service district.

The position requires relocating to service districts, strong electronics and lab science knowledge, and completion of Sysmex-certified training as part of the career path.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 0–3 years in biomedical engineering/electronics/lab science.
• Electronics and/or laboratory science background.
• Sysmex-certified instrument training completed.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• Willing to relocate to service districts across the U.S.
• Basic Windows computer knowledge; LIS interfacing desirable.
• English fluency; second language desirable (Spanish, French or Portuguese).

Responsibilities

• Complete training to perform Field Service Technician duties.
• Travel to U.S. service districts during training.
• Provide service support in various districts after training.
• Travel up to 75% within the continental U.S.
• Pursue open SE or related positions after program.
• Install, maintain, and repair Sysmex instruments and systems.
• Document all service-related activities timely and accurately.
• Maintain inventory and company property; manage expenses.
• Promote effective communication and teamwork across Sysmex staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
