Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is seeking a Regional Field Service Technician to develop the expertise needed to advance to a Service Engineer role. The role includes extensive training, frequent travel across the U.S., and potential relocation to service districts as openings occur.

The FST will support instrument installation, maintenance, and repair while documenting all activities. During training, you will travel up to 50% and work with a mentor across districts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 0–3 years in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Clinical Laboratory Science; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Willing to relocate to any service district in the U.S.; travel up to 50% during training.
• Excellent command of English; second language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Sysmex instruments and systems.
• Travel within the United States to work with mentors and later support service districts.
• Document all service activities and maintain records and inventory.
• Support and coordinate with other Sysmex personnel to resolve customer issues.
• Move into a Service Engineer position as openings arise.

Education

Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering / Electronics / Clinical Laboratory Science

Bachelor’s degree preferred
