True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a National Distribution Manager to lead the development and expansion of its U.S. distributor network.

You will shape a comprehensive national strategy, evaluate current partners, recruit new distributors, and collaborate with leadership to drive market presence. The role requires strong sales leadership in industrial markets, experience with hydraulic or fluid power products, and willingness to travel across the United States to build and maintain

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive sales, channel management, or business development experience in industrial markets.
• Experience selling technical products through independent distributors.
• Background in hydraulic components, fluid power, or related products.
• Proven ability to grow sales with existing partners and develop new distributor relationships.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the United States.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, nationally focused position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 2–3 year national distribution growth strategy.
• Evaluate current distributor network for performance and geographic coverage.
• Identify underserved markets and recruit qualified new distributors.
• Establish distributor selection criteria, performance expectations, and ongoing evaluation processes.
• Develop strategic relationships with regional and national distributors serving hydraulic, fluid power, and industrial equipment markets.
• Drive increased revenue through existing distribution partners through joint business plans and growth initiatives.
• Conduct regular distributor visits, business reviews, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor market trends and represent the company at trade shows and distributor meetings.
