The candidate will build a multi-year distribution plan, strengthen current relationships, recruit new partners, and drive market coverage nationwide with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive sales, channel management, or business development in industrial markets.
• Experience growing distributor networks and selling through independent distributors.
• Strong negotiation and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a two- to three-year national distribution growth strategy.
• Evaluate distributor performance, geographic coverage and market potential.
• Identify underserved markets and recruit new distribution partners.
• Establish distributor selection criteria and ongoing evaluation processes.
• Develop relationships with regional and national distributors in hydraulic, fluid power and related markets.
• Drive revenue growth with existing partners and create joint business plans.
• Represent the company at trade shows, distributor meetings and customer events.
• Travel nationwide to advance commercial growth initiatives.
