Our client is seeking a National Distribution Manager to lead the development and expansion of its U.S. distributor network.
The role focuses on building a national distribution strategy, strengthening partner relationships, and recruiting new distributors across the United States. Remote-friendly, travel-heavy position requiring 5+ years in industrial sales or channel management, experience with hydraulic or fluid power products, and the ability to drive revenue through strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- 5+ years in sales, channel management, or business development in industrial markets.
- Proven success expanding distributor networks.
- Experience selling through independent distributors of technical products.
- Background in hydraulic components, fluid power, or related products.
- Ability to grow revenue with current partners while developing new relationships.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2–3 year national distribution growth strategy.
- Evaluate distributor network performance and coverage.
- Recruit qualified new distribution partners.
- Establish distributor selection criteria and KPIs.
- Collaborate with distributors on sales plans and training.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
