Job summary

Stantec is seeking a US Distribution Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate our national Distribution Line practice. You will guide strategy, ensure technical quality, and align resources for coast-to-coast delivery.

You will work with operations and sector leaders to grow the practice, mentor staff, and sustain high standards in safety and client service across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related engineering and PE licensure.
• Minimum 15 years in distribution line engineering, delivery, and leadership.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams and BD activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. Distribution practice as a national team across regions and offices.
• Provide coaching and performance oversight to distribution line managers.
• Develop and execute strategic vision, growth plan, and operations.
• Drive utilization, workforce planning, and resource management.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
• Balance workload and support profitable project delivery.
• Staff projects per quality, safety, and standards.
• Support recruitment, succession planning, and professional development.
• Represent Stantec at client meetings, industry conferences, and organizations.
• Collaborate with leadership to align investment and growth priorities.
