Job summary

TAB Bank in Utah seeks a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager to develop and expand CRE relationships nationwide. You will manage a portfolio of real estate loans, from small term lines to large development projects, using deep knowledge of real estate transactions and markets.

Responsibilities include cultivating sponsors and referral sources, coordinating underwriting and closing with our team, and presenting loan requests for credit approval while ensuring profitability and risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in commercial real estate lending and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, referral sources, and direct clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Advanced sales, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to assess LTV, DSCR, sponsor acumen, and credit risks.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains CRE relationships nationwide.
• Determines risks to align with Bank's risk profile.
• Serves as the main contact to understand client needs and deliver solutions.
• Prepares transaction prescreens and term sheets for execution.
• Coordinates underwriting and support staff through origination and closing.
• Presents loan requests to credit approval authority.
• Manages credit quality and profitability of loans in portfolio.
• Keeps abreast of financial markets and regulations.
• Surface issues and provide feedback for resolution.
