Sunflower Bank, N.A. in California seeks a Commercial Relationship Manager – Commercial Real Estate (CRE) to expand and manage a CRE loan portfolio and drive growth in relationships and deposits. You will work with senior management to implement a market strategy focused on CRE opportunities.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, leadership, and collaboration with Wealth Management, Treasury Management, and other banking services. A strong credit background and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics.
• MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years in CRE relationship management and commercial lending.
• Experience with deposits and TM products.
• Formal credit training preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Sales and leadership abilities required.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Expand and optimize a portfolio of CRE clients.
• Lead acquisition and documentation of loan and deposit transactions.
• Coordinate credit applications and administration.
• Structure and price loan, deposit and TM relationships.
• Present credit requests to senior management for review.
• Manage client relationships including portfolio loans and deposits.
• Cross-sell all company products and services.
• Refer opportunities to other departments and personnel.
