The role partners with senior consultants, producers, and benefits teams to deliver data-driven insights that support underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic decision-making. Strong analytics and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data for client strategy and decision-making.
• Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support pricing negotiations, carrier pricing, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly.
• Develop analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results.
• Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Recommend and implement improvements that boost efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain clear communication regarding analytical findings, recommendations, and client activities.
• Provide analytical guidance and knowledge sharing for team development.
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies and market trends.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
• Demonstrate integrity, leadership, and professionalism.
