Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics across the benefits group. You will collect, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategies and underwriting decisions.

Collaborating with Senior Analytic Consultants and care teams, you will deliver data‑driven insights, develop dashboards, and communicate complex results clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data‑driven financial analysis
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution‑development skills
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Data analytics & interpretation to support client strategy and decision‑making
• Underwriting support: evaluate data and develop pricing recommendations
• Client consulting: deliver data‑driven insights on risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance
• Reporting & presentation development: create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations
• Stakeholder collaboration with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders
