Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead and support analytics activities on a national scale. You will collect, analyze, interpret data, and deliver client-ready insights to inform underwriting evaluations, renewals, and strategic decisions.

Collaborating with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams, you will develop reports and dashboards, use BI tools, and drive process improvements to enhance client outcomes and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Data analytics and interpretation of underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
• Support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses with underwriting data.
• Deliver data-driven insights for client risk, trends, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, prospecting, and business development.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating complex information clearly.
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
• Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and stakeholders.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
• Provide analytical guidance and knowledge sharing to support team development.
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, analytics tools, and market trends.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards
