Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics across the benefits group nationally. You will collect, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, and financial data to inform client decisions and support renewal negotiations.

The role collaborates with senior consultants, producers, and account teams to drive data-driven insights and improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics and interpretation of underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy.
• Underwriting data evaluation and recommendations to support pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations communicating complex information clearly.
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
