Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics activities on a national scale. You will collect, analyze, interpret, and report data to support underwriting, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic client decisions.

You will partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver data‑driven insights, develop dashboards, and present findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and consultative solution development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision making.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data‑driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Partner with Producers and Benefits teams by providing analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Analytics Process Management: Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results.
• Technology Optimization: Utilize and evaluate analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and improved performance.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, analytical capabilities, and service delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders to support client objectives.
• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding analytical findings, recommendations, and client activities.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide analytical guidance and support team development through knowledge sharing and subject matter expertise.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, analytics tools, market trends, and industry best practices.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and established analytical procedures.
