Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Manager to develop, manage, and complete a detailed job plan for assigned projects. The role works under the Site Superintendent and in partnership with the Project Manager to ensure successful execution, with a focus on safety, quality, and budget adherence.

The position requires relocation and nationwide capability, aligning with Layton's commitment to delivering projects regardless of location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 2+ years of ground-up commercial construction experience.
• Knowledge of building codes and blueprints.
• Experience with BIM360 or similar software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a comprehensive job plan for an assigned project.
• Champion Layton standards and ensure predictable outcomes for teams and customers.
• Review plans and specifications to fully understand requirements.
• Coordinate schedule, access, manpower, and building needs.
• Procure tools, labor and select materials as needed.
• Interact with architects and owners to resolve issues.
• Track progress, costs, and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and quality work is delivered.
• Prepare and contribute to Project Management Plan.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on project status.
