Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant to lead analytics across the Benefits Group on a national scale. You will gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, and financial data to drive client decisions and strategic initiatives.

Based remotely, you will partner with senior consultants, producers, and account teams to deliver data-driven insights for renewals, pricing, and program performance, while advancing analytics methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or actuarial science.
• Knowledge of underwriting, funding arrangements, pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making.
• Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results.
• Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and improved performance.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders to support client objectives.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication of analytical findings, recommendations, and client activities.
• Provide analytical guidance and support team development through knowledge sharing.
