Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a National Analytic Consultant for its Benefits Group. You will lead data analytics nationwide, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting underwriting, claims, and financial data to drive client decisions.

You will partner with senior consultants, producers, and account teams to develop insights, support renewals and negotiations, and deliver dashboards and presentations that enhance underwriting evaluations and program performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with quantitative focus.
Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements.
Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution development skills.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making.
Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results.
Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
