Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Air Quality & Acoustics Business Line Lead to drive strategic growth, financial performance, and market positioning for the nationwide practice. The role partners with the Technical Service Leader to align technical excellence with rapid market expansion and serves as the primary liaison with the National Sales Team.

The leader will guide strategy, resource forecasting, digital transformation investments, and cross‑regional delivery, while mentoring future leaders

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited program.
17 years of applicable experience required.
Prior experience on construction sites or program management in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, or water preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Drive business performance through sales, revenue, gross margin, backlog and utilization metrics.
Develop annual business plans and growth strategies.
Lead major pursuits, capture planning, and executive client engagement.
