Job summary

ARC Document Solutions seeks a General Manager for National AIM Operations to oversee large-scale scanning and archiving projects across the AIM network, establishing standards and coordinating across centers and customer sites.

Lead process improvements, optimize workflows, ensure quality, and align hardware and software with ARC’s national guidelines while partnering with Sales, customers, and branch leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing a commercial document scanning operation.
• Proven ability to develop process workflows and quality-control procedures.
• Deep knowledge of document imaging principles, formats, and OCR/ICR/OMR/barcode technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for large scanning and archiving projects across AIM Operations Centers, regional locations, and customer sites.
• Establish and maintain best-practice standards across scanning operations.
• Optimize production workflows to maximize quality, efficiency, labor utilization, and resource management.
• Develop and maintain quality-control standards designed to minimize errors and defects.
• Review operational and production data to identify challenges and implement improvements.
• Ensure hardware and software acquisitions align with ARC’s national standards.
• Work with the AIM Sales team to plan projects, identify customer needs, develop technical solutions, calculate costs, and set timelines.
• Participate in major customer presentations, providing operational expertise and technical insight.
• Serve as a key operational contact for large AIM customers and partner with customers on scheduling and status.
• Drive process and quality improvement by establishing production standards and coordinating cross-location activities.
