The position requires building strong shipper and carrier relationships, overseeing dispatch, and delivering excellent customer service. Hybrid options available for brokers with a transferrable book or commission-only arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in full service freight brokerage and national accounts.
• Ability to build and retain national shipper and carrier relationships.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in a fast-paced in-office brokerage.
• Knowledge of OTR trucking operations including FTL and spot freight.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a national book of business with shippers across the country.
• Negotiate rates and secure carrier capacity for shipments.
• Oversee dispatch activities and monitor shipments for on-time delivery.
• Provide quotes, track market trends, and coordinate with internal teams to optimize margins.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation; communicate proactively with customers.
