Job summary

Electrovaya is seeking a Director of Sales, National Accounts to lead strategic sales initiatives across North America and beyond. You will negotiate major deals, nurture key accounts, and translate customer needs into battery and charger solutions.

You will work closely with BD, Operations, and Engineering to ensure successful quoting, ordering, and delivery. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in MHEV/forklift sales, strong communication, and a proven track record with HubSpot CRM.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales experience in MHEV forklift sales.
• Experience with HubSpot CRM.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and close sales with direct customers and national accounts in North America and beyond.
• Establish and maintain relationships with major accounts (Hyster Yale, Crown, Toyota, Raymond).
• Translate customer power needs to suitable battery and charger solutions.
• Provide recommendations based on power studies or existing load profiles.
• Conduct ongoing market research and report competitive information.
• Collaborate with BD, Operations, and Engineering for quotes, orders, and customization.
• Support installation projects via Electrovaya’s Service Team.
• Prepare proposals and ROI analyses for customers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
• Travel to customer sites in NA and overseas as required; attend trade shows.
