Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a sales professional for a remote role with significant travel across the United States. You will develop new business, maintain a healthy pipeline, and manage opportunities from discovery through close, collaborating with engineering, operations, and internal partners to promote UL products and services.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or higher in engineering or related field, 2+ years of sales experience in the EV Battery sector, a proven ability to hit targets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of related sales experience.
• Deep knowledge and experience with EV Battery industry.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business within the territory through prospecting and engagement.
• Build and progress a healthy sales pipeline aligned with targets.
• Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, next-step, and forecast information in Salesforce.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans identifying priority customers.
• Lead customer discovery to understand needs and position UL Solutions services.
• Collaborate with engineering and other stakeholders to progress opportunities.
• Maintain follow-up and ownership of opportunities through close and transition to delivery.
• Identify risks, competition, and market developments; communicate insights to leadership.
• Participate in regular pipeline, forecast, and account planning discussions.
