Job summary

U.S. Multimodal Group in Indianapolis seeks a Director of National Accounts to drive revenue growth across the full-service portfolio. You will lead strategic pursuits, align intermodal, drayage, transload, and cross-border solutions with client needs, and manage executive relationships.

The role collaborates with operations and pricing, oversees pipeline and forecast accuracy, and represents USMMG at industry events and major RFPs. Travel required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial sales experience.
• Proven track record building and scaling multi-modal books of business.
• Experience selling to Fortune 1000 shippers in CPG, retail, and industrial sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own annual revenue, margin, and new-logo targets across service lines.
• Develop customer strategies for intermodal, drayage, transload, truckload, expedited, and cross-border services.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, and network teams to craft profitable solutions.
• Cultivate executive relationships with shipper CSCOs and VP-level buyers.
• Manage pipeline, forecast accuracy, and CRM integrity.
• Represent USMMG at industry events and during strategic RFPs.
